The Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department will host the 26th annual Pancake Breakfast at the Fowler Park Log Barn on Saturday, February 18th and Sunday, February 19th from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Adults will be served pancakes, sausage patties, pure maple syrup, and a drink for $5.00 and Children 6 and under eat for $2.00.
During breakfast hours, the pioneer village and gift shop will be open to visitors. Maple syrup can be purchased at the Pancake Breakfast, if available.
The sugar camp at Prairie Creek Park is open throughout February whenever the sap is flowing and the staff is cooking. Visitors are always welcome. Call (812) 898-2279 before traveling and staff will tell you if they are cooking.
Fowler Park is located 7 miles south of I-70 off U.S. 41. Prairie Creek Park is located 4 miles south of Fowler off U.S. 41.
