Idle Creek Golf Course

This very nice course is situated near the Wabash River Valley. The course was cut out of the forest and is surrounded by a residential housing track. This course features a front nine that has rolling fairways, which are very tight and require accuracy and precise ball placement. The back nine holes feature somewhat flat and wide open fairways. Water hazards and sand bunkers come into play on several holes.

The Titzers have produced work found in many homes/public locations, including “Wheels”, a 4-piece sculpture mounted in the facade of the Michael Simmons Student Activity Center on ISU campus, and “Culvature”, a sculpture currently on loan to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The Studio gallery offers the work, in lampworked bead jewelry, sculpture & decorative metals, of artist/owners Karen and Patrick Titzer, as well as many other artists and craftpersons. The Hulman Mini-speedway is a 1/20 mile dirt track, and is home to the Terre Haute Quarter Midget Association. The Quarter Midgets, driven by 5 to 16 year olds, race at the track from mid-April-October. Track schedule and additional information can be found at thqma.com. The arena is home court for the Indiana State University Sycamores basketball teams, Broadway plays, and nationally known performes.
