Farrington Grove Historic Residential District
The largest of Terre Haute’s National Register-listed historic districts, this neighborhood contains some of the earliest and most prominent residential architecture in the city.
Eugene V. Debs House Museum
Home of Eugene V. Debs, labor leader, socialist presidential candidate, and human rights advocate. Founded in 1960s open 1 to 4:30 pm Wednesday through Sunday, and by appointment. The home was built in 1890 Free admission. Closed holidays.
Wabash Valley Railroaders Museum
A tribute to the men and women who work or worked for the railroads of the Wabash Valley. One of the features is an 1880′s vintage Terre Haute & Indianapolis Railroad Depot.
Vigo County Historical Museum
Built in 1868 as the home of William H. Sage. Exhibits include Victorian Room settings, a Military Room, Country Store, 1900′s Pharmacy, Toy Shop, and School Room. A Coca-Cola Corridor commemorates Terre Haute as the birthplace of the famous contour Coke bottle. Hrs. Tues-Sun 1-4 pm;closed January. Free admission.
Sheldon Swope Art Museum
Renovated in 2003, the museum is located in a historic 1901 Italian Renaissance Revival building, and features works from late 19th and early 20th centuries. Collection highlights include works by American artists Edward Hopper, Thomas Hart Benton, Grant Wood, Andy Warhol, and Robert Motherwell. Closed Sun-Mon & national holidays

Paul Dresser Memorial Birthplace
First Street & Dresser Drive (812) 235-9717 This pre-Civil War home of Paul Dresser was relocated to Fairbanks Park.
