ISU Homecoming October 17, 2015

Homecoming is one of the largest traditions at Indiana State University and one of my favorite times of the year. I greatly enjoy the opportunity to visit with friends and meet alumni as they spend the weekend back at our alma mater. I hope you will join us for this year’s extra special Homecoming October 15-18, as we kick-off of Indiana State University’s Sesquicentennial Celebration! As we start our Sesquicentennial Celebration, we welcome alumni, friends and Sycamores of all ages to be a part of Homecoming 2015.

Our Sesquicentennial Celebration Era (2015 – early 2020) will commemorate the many milestones and accomplishments that have played an important role in our history. Celebration events are planned for campus throughout the State of Indiana and around the globe. More information about the sesquicentennial celebration will be available as plans are finalized. However, there is no better way to begin the celebrations than right here in Terre Haute through the Sesquicentennial Celebration Gala – an incredible evening that will pay tribute to our heritage and support need-based scholarships for our students. The gala is planned for Thursday, October 15, 2015.

The sesquicentennial celebration will be woven into several weekend activities so join us for your favorite Homecoming events! I look forward to seeing you at the Sycamore Tricycle Derby, Distinguished Alumni Awards, Blue and White Parade, Tent City and the Sycamore football game. No matter what you choose to participate in; Homecoming is a great time to connect with college friends, former and current roommates and meet students, new alumni and other Sycamore fans.

As Homecoming gets closer, be sure to check back on this site for event times and locations. I look forward to seeing you October 15-18. Please contact the Alumni Association at 812.514.8400 if you have questions about Homecoming or your alma mater.

Go Sycamores!
